High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest After Crowley Shooting

A stolen vehicle pursuit that began with a report of gunfire in Crowley concluded peacefully in Forest Hill on Monday afternoon. Crowley Police responded to the 900 block of Skelly around 1 p.m. following a "shots fired" call.Officers on the scene attempted to stop the driver of a stolen vehicle fleeing the area. The suspect, 33-year-old Cameron Samsill, led police on a chase into Fort Worth before being apprehended in Forest Hill. No injuries or property damage were reported.Samsill is now in custody at the Crowley Police Department jail, facing a slew of charges including deadly conduct, evading arrest, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. A firearm was also recovered from the scene.
